Vladislav Alexandrovich Babichev is 65. It seems unbelievable, especially, when you see this always fit and neat Captain. After graduating from Admiral Makarov State Maritime Academy in 1970, Vladislav Alexandrovich, as a young Navigator, came to the Baltic Shipping Company and grew up to the Master rank, working successfully on different vessels.

           Everybody, who knows him for a long time, characterizes him as a highly professional, competent and exigent Master who always supports promising young crewmembers and helps in their professional growth.

            Vladislav Alexandrovich came to CSM in 2003 as an experienced Master. Since that time, he has been working on different vessels of the Company and his ships were always free of accident, major non conformity and crew-caused off hire.

            During his long lasting work Vladislav Alexandrovich fostered and promoted more than dozen of Masters and hundreds of Navigators who always recall years of joint work with particular warmness and gratitude and now share kind wishes and congratulations on the Master’s anniversary.

            During all these years Vladislav Alexandrovich together with his wife Svetlana brought up two wonderful sons, built cosy house and planted not so few trees. His house is always open for his numerous old friends who wish him health and good luck in this Anniversary year.
